Small Church Ministry

"And let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds,

not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some,

but encouraging one another; and all the more, as you see the day drawing near."

Hebrews 10:24-25

Grace Community Church is designed to soar on the two "wings" of our church. One wing is our weekly large group worship celebration.  The second wing is small church where groups of believers gather in homes for edification. The small church ministry is the primary place for outreach and assimilation, fellowship, discipleship, missions promotion, communication, and care and accountability for the members at Grace.

The mission of the small church ministry is to be a warm and caring community where Christ draws intimately near as we are bound together by a common love for Christ and one another, a place where we can share our joys and sorrows.

Small churches meet the first and third Sunday evening of every month from 6:15 - 8:00. Each small church meeting includes a lesson, prayer time, and fellowship over a meal or dessert. Some meetings include an update from an elder about current issues in our church. Small church is also the primary place for providing feedback for the elders.

Child care is provided at the Livery. Children from birth through fifth grade can be dropped off for an evening of Adventure Club and a light meal.

Our small church ministry is coordinated by Chris and Paulette Myers. They try to make sure everyone new to Grace Community Church is invited to a small church. They also oversee small church leader training, conduct monthly small church leader meetings, and communicate regularly with our seven small church leader couples.
